QUESTIONS / ANSWERED
Good to know.
What's the difference between the three formulas?
Light is a one-stop service: we come, scan, process, and deliver. Optimal includes your own calibrated equipment and operator training while reconstruction stays with us as a per-scene service. Max transfers the complete workflow, enabling your team to perform both capture and processing independently.
Can I take measurements inside my 3D environment?
Yes, if the environment has a valid coordinate scale and geometry suitable for measurement. The viewer includes an indicative point-to-point measuring tool. Measurement accuracy depends on calibration, LiDAR data quality, registration and independent verification; a visually photorealistic Gaussian splat alone does not establish engineering-grade precision.
How quickly can you deliver a completed scan?
For a standard-scope Light project, the target is within 48 hours after the completed site scan. Larger, unusually complex, or incomplete datasets may require a separately agreed schedule. Field visits depend on availability and travel logistics.
Do I need special software to view the result?
The deliverable is a 3D file such as PLY, which can be opened in compatible software. An interactive browser viewing experience can also be built and hosted as an additional project. The sample scenes on this site illustrate that capability.
What hardware does the Max plan require?
Max includes acquisition hardware, calibration know-how, training, and processing workflow handover. A suitably powerful CPU/GPU computer is needed for local processing, and can be specified or supplied separately. Software licenses and vendor usage rights must be confirmed for the intended installation.
